John from the Albuquerque, New Mexico location wins Aldo Croatti Award
John Saucedo, UniFirst - Albuquerque, New Mexico

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - It is the most coveted of all UniFirst Corporation recognitions. And out of the thousands of UniFirst route sales representatives (RSRs) in the U.S and Canada, Moriarity resident John Saucedo is one of only ten who have earned this distinction for 2014. Named after UniFirst’s founder, the Aldo Croatti Award is presented to those RSRs who exemplify unparalleled customer service and satisfaction while retaining 100% of their customers for an entire fiscal year.

Saucedo, who works for UniFirst at its Albuquerque location, delivers work uniforms and facility service products to 92 businesses on a weekly basis throughout the greater Portland area. He has been with UniFirst for 20 years.

Headquartered in Wilmington, Mass., UniFirst Corporation (NYSE: UNF) is a leading provider of customized work uniform programs, corporate attire, and facility service products to businesses throughout the U.S. and Canada. Together with its subsidiaries, UniFirst also provides first aid and safety products, and manages protective garment programs for the cleanroom and nuclear industries.

"John is a dedicated individual you can rely on," says UniFirst general manager Raymond Alarcon. "Because of this, his customers are dedicated and loyal to his service. Over the course of his 20 years with UniFirst, John has demonstrated great leadership skills and has been a mentor to the up-and-comers in the service department. He is a customer service champion."

Saucedo attributed winning the award to communication. "Day-in and day-out, I try to have open and clear communication with my customers and my UniFirst team. It took a lot of time and effort to get this award. The team effort was the key to my success."

Saucedo resides in Moriarity with his wife Jeanie and has two adult sons, Chris and Jeffry. He enjoys fishing and spending time with friends and family.

As part of his award, Saucedo will receive an all-expenses-paid trip for two to the Four Seasons Resort in Maui, Hawaii, in December, where he will be personally recognized by UniFirst president and CEO Ron Croatti and other company executives.
